A Religious Day for Some it Seems

My understanding is that today is a big day for many who have misguided priorities.  I was told this is the first day of the ‘regular’ football season.  From the actions and attitude from so many people it is almost as if Trump himself was coming or the second coming was finally here.

From what I have been told it seems that may of the people who get caught up in this distraction, will put it ahead of work and attending church.  They worship this graven image of a sport, devoting all many of time and energy to this sad worship.  They create alters in their homes and preform what is clearly religious ceremonies with prayer and rituals that very much match the level of anything I have ever seen in church.

Once more we see that the people of this time have messed up priorities.  Instead of working ten hours a day or attending church all day for the Sabbath, they would rather attend these events dedicated to childish rough housing.

And here we again see a lack of understanding in where people know their place in the world.  In my time only the wealthy, those who were born into families that have earned the right to be able to have the free time to enjoy these sporting events.
